Women Academic Doctors of Adazi-Nnukwu (WADAN)

The Women Academic Doctors of Adazi‑Nnukwu (WADAN) is a non-profit volunteer organization based in Adazi‑Nnukwu (Anocha LGA, Anambra State, Nigeria). 

WADAN is committed to mentoring young girls (from about age 10–12 and up) in Adazi-Nnukwu. They focus on leadership development, academic success, character formation, and social responsibility. Their program includes mentoring relationships between “women academic doctors” and younger girls, building skills in emotional/social development, moral character, and learning. At their inauguration event, founding members gave talks on topics like “Girl Child Education” and “Career Path Selection.” 

As the founder and Chief Visionary Leader of the WADAN Community Foundation, Dr. ILoghalu is dedicated to empowering young girls and fostering human capital development.
